Thinking of getting a newer Hyundai Tucson...
Hi all,
I’m a big fan of the Tucson and have a 161 model. With the third edition coming out for 211, I would love to get a 201 Premium with the panoramic sunroof etc. Will the arrival of the new model lead to much of a drop in the premium 201 model used price?
Also, it seems they’re plentiful in the UK. How can I best trade in my 161 against a UK Tucson Premium and is it worth the hassle to look to the UK at all?
Thanks!

Is a previously N1 Touareg this costly to tax?
Hi,
T have a 2016 Volkswagen Touareg that is registered as N1 and I want to change it to M1 and I can, but they tell me that because it was N1 when first registered that my car tax will still be on engine size not CO2, so I will have to pay €1,500 when an identical car can be taxed for €750. I would be grateful for any advice you can give me on this.

Is this tax on a 2014 Berlingo van right?
We have a 1,500cc Berlingo van for social and domestic use. It is 2014. We have been charged €514 to tax it. Surely this cannot be right?
Thank you

Thinking of importing a pick-up...
Hi,
I'm looking to buy a 2016 Mitsubishi L200 2.4 Barbarian in the North. I'm an electrician working for one person so it's just both of us. I haven't asked him yet but is it possible that if I buy it could I use his VAT number to reclaim the VAT paid? Also when I do bring it through, will I be able to put it down for commercial tax without being registered for VAT myself? I have only had standard car insurance previously, no van.

Should I get a newer Toyota for tax reasons?
What is the road tax on a 2008 1.4 petrol Toyota Corolla Verso? I have a 2006 and it's very expensive for the 3,000km the car does a year.

I want to buy a van for personal use...
I want to buy a 2.0-litre van (commercial), but I'm not able to pay €333. And I don't want this. Two questions:
1 - Will I pay €710 (private car standard) no matter which year the vanwas made?
2 - Can I change, if I buy, to NCT test centre from CVRT, even if the car is a van? Are there some procedures/forms for this or what?
Thank you!
