Should I go for a Mazda6 diesel now?
Just read your review on the Mazda6. Is it wise to buy a diesel nowadays considering all the bad press? Do you think the government will come down on diesels hard in the future as all you can hear is "dirty diesel"? Or would you advise one to go for a hybrid instead?

Is my Nissan Juke's start-stop ok?
On start-stop on a Nissan Juke, is it normal for the engine to completely cut out so you have to start it again through the ignition if you take your seat belt off?

What's the best hybrid SUV?
Hi,
I’m currently driving a 2017 Nissan Qashqai SVE and looking to trade to a 17 or 18-reg plug-in hybrid of a similar size and spec level. Budget of about €30k including my car's trade value. What would you recommend? I do mainly city driving so hoping the hybrid would offer some savings.
Thanks

What new hybrid would suit my aunt's use?
Hi,
My aunt is looking at buying a hybrid. She currently has a 2010 SEAT Ibiza with 40,000km on the clock, which is in immaculate condition. As indicated by the mileage she doesn't do much driving and what she does is city and suburbs. She's interested in a new hybrid (as opposed to electric - she thinks it's too early in its development) that is reliable. Ideally she'd like an automatic, but doesn't want to pay a huge premium for that. Her budget is €20,000 plus the Ibiza.
What would you suggest?
Thanks

What to clean Mercedes Artico with?
Hi,
I have a C-Class Mercedes with Artico imitation leather interior. The "leather" is starting to crack the same way real leather does, (not badly). Do you know the best way to maintain the appearance of the seats? Presumably, the normal leather treatments won't be of any use, or would they?
Thanks

What do you think of VRT rates and imports?
I understand that the import duty tax has risen from 10 per cent to 11 per cent as of 1/1/19. Do you think it should or could increase again after Brexit in order to help save the motor trade in the Republic and to try persuade people to stay and buy Irish? I feel that if the import duty tax went to 12.5 per cent it would stop people going to England or up North. What is your opinion on the matter?

Renault Kadjar or Kia Sportage?
I have to change my old 2002 Renault Scenic and I'm just wondering which would you recommend I go for: the Renault Kadjar or the Kia Sportage? I would probably be looking at a 2017 model.
Thanks
