Can I fit smaller wheels to my Ford?
I have 15-inch wheels on my car and need to replace one rim. I went to a scrap yard but they didn't have any 15-inch wheels for my model of car (2003 Ford Fusion). They had a full set of 14-inch rims with new tyres (thinking of replacing all four because I also need two tyres), but I'm wondering can I put 14-inch rims on to a car that has 15-inch wheels.

My Skoda Octavia's engine is cutting out. Why?
My Skoda Octavia is losing power after each gear change. When putting my foot on the accelerator revs go down to below 500rpm and the engine cuts out, and then restarts, but doesn't feel right. What could be wrong?

How do I turn off stop-start on my new Volkswagen Golf?
Is it possible to disconnect the stop-start function on my 2012 Volkswagen Golf BlueMotion? I keep forgetting to switch it off until it cuts out the first time I stop. Surely it must eventually wear out the starter? It drives me crazy - makes me look like I'm letting the car cut out all the time. If all vehicles had it the streets would be polluted with the noise of dozens of car engines stopping and starting. I'm not convinced that this particular innovation will be popular. What do you think?

What's the problem with my Skoda Octavia?
Hi, I have a Skoda Octavia that has problems starting. It turns on but has no power until it has warmed up, which takes a couple of minutes. If you try to drive it bunny hopped. Took it to garage where they changed the cold start, but still didnt work. Had an auto electrician on it, no problems detected. Now it wont start at all.
Any ideas?

How can I clean this stuff off my car?
Hi there CompleteCar,
Any idea what I can do/use to get rid of 'fence life' paint from my car? It got sprayed a little over the weekend. Will it need to be machine polished to get it all off? I've rubbed the spoiler area for about an hour with warm sudsy water and then a dry cloth and managed to get it 90% off that, but it's pretty much all over the car.
Help!
