Should my Civic's brakes be changed under warranty?

I recently purchased a 2012 Honda Civic, the garage gave me 12 months warranty, we're two months in. However, I noticed the brake discs on the two back wheels are heavily scored. I returned to the garage to get them replaced. They said it wasn't necessary and so wouldn't be covered by the warranty. They said there was no danger but will this cause me problems down the line?

What do you think about the Honda Civic's braking issue?

Thank you for your reply on the Honda Civic 2009, but I have since come across many complaints about the brakes and some people are only getting 10,000 kilometres before replacing. When the problem was reported to Honda, it did not want to know and blamed bad driving habits. There were far too many irate customers for this to be the reason. Yours comments would be appreciated.

Is it possible that my MINI doesn't have ABS?

Is it possible that my 2008 MINI Cooper S does not have anti-lock brakes (ABS) fitted as standard? It does have DSC, but I heard this is not the same.

What's wrong with the brakes on my Lexus?

I replaced the brake discs and pads of my 2001 Lexus GS 300 about 16 weeks ago. They were changed because the whole front end of the car vibrated violently while braking - including the steering wheel. After changing the discs and pads everything was ok, but now it's back the very same again please.

Help!
