AsapTow Dublin free towing and assistance

Free roadside recovery and assistance from AsapTow extended till October 2020.

AsapTow.ie has confirmed that it is extending its offer of free roadside recovery and towing for those aged over 60 in the North Dublin area until October. This has been done as a way to help those most in need, and especially key workers and those working in the health services, stay mobile as Ireland starts to emerge from lockdown.

Putting life ahead of profit

"At AsapTow.ie, we have a culture of putting human life and comfort ahead of profits and anything else. At difficult times like this, we realise that many seniors are having various challenges with their automobiles as social distancing and lockdowns could, and is leaving a good number of them stranded and potentially helpless. We also realise that health workers, as well as other frontline service providers, may encounter the same challenges as they work hard to restore normalcy in the wake of this pandemic" said Patrick Gavin, CEO AsapTow.ie.

Two tow trucks on call

Gavin says that two of AsapTow.ie's trucks will be on the road and ready for action. They'll be offering jump-starts, breakdown help, or - ultimately - towing a car that just won't go. "While we monitor the outbreak of COVID-19, we encourage everyone to stay calm, practice proper hygiene, obey government-imposed restrictions and stick to social distancing as well as other measures recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO). We join the rest of the world in solidarity for the affected individuals and the hardest hit regions" said Gavin.

HSE staff, Gardai, and Defence Forces

"A huge chunk of those aged over 60 are expected to be retirees, pensioners and the elderly. We are also extending this gesture to all HSE staff, from doctors to nurses and more, as well as all frontline service providers such as the Irish Police and Irish Defence Forces" said Gavin.
