Opel has revealed its 202-registration offers, with which it (along with everyone else) hopes to help kick-start sales again as we emerge from lockdown.
2.9 per cent finance
First up is affordable finance, and Opel is offering 2.9 per cent interest on PCP deals for anyone who gets their order in before August 31st. That offer comes with three years' free servicing thrown in.
Want better than that? Well, if you're in the market for a commercial vehicle, Opel is offering zero per cent hire-purchase finance on all its van models.
Electric Corsa
Now, as well as the offers, there are some new - electrified - models to peruse, starting with the Corsa-e (which has a 50kW battery, good for a one-charge range of around 336km) and the plug-in hybrid version of the Grandland X SUV.
James Brooks, Managing Director at Leeson Motors, Opel Importer in Ireland said: "Our Opel-202 passenger car offers have been designed to bring new customers a little peace of mind in these uncertain times. Low-cost finance plus a three years' free servicing bonus across our car range clearly drives down the total cost of ownership and ensures our customers have a little more certainty over monthly motoring bills, with no surprise maintenance charges to be added."
Hygiene protocols
He continued, "The Opel Dealer Network is very much open for business this June and has implemented stringent hygiene and safety protocols in showrooms to safeguard customers, in line with Government and Public Health advice. We remain very optimistic that customers will now return to their local Opel Dealer for new and used vehicles and for their servicing needs. Indeed, we are seeing an order bank building for the new 202-July registration plate, with particular interest in the new Corsa model range, the Insignia and the Grandland X SUV."
