Frank Hogan Motors in Limerick and Sheehy Motors, Naas have been judged to be the joint winners of Volkswagen's Retailer of the Year Award.
In business for 47 and 52 years, respectively
Hogan's has been in business for 47 years now, and currently employs 54 staff. It's run by Retailer Principal Ron Hogan and General Manager John Fitzgerald, aided by Volkswagen Brand Manager Paul Sheehan and Aftersales Manager Michelle O'Hanlon.
Sheehy Motors has been in business for 52 years and employ 35 staff members. The business is run by Retailer Principal Frank Kelly and this is the first time they have been the recipient of the award.
'Unrvialled drive for excellence'
Commenting on the win, Volkswagen Ireland Brand Director Rodolfo Calixto said: "The team at Frank Hogan's have an unrivalled drive for excellence and in 2019 the team worked tirelessly to over-achieve on targets and maintaining strong customer loyalty. The teams in Sales and Aftersales worked together to over-achieve on their new car sales and parts targets. This aligned strategy coupled with a strong and committed customer focused team assisted them in securing the Retailer of the Year 2019."

In relation to Sheehy Motors, Volkswagen Ireland Brand Director Rodolfo Calixto added: "The team at Sheehy Motors Naas have not only excelled in their performance, both in terms of Sales and Aftersales, but their entire staff buy-in to the ethos of providing excellent customers service and this has really shone through in this excellent retailer."
