It's the first time the LEAF racer will have been seen by the public on a race track and it will have its first outing on 9.15pm on Thursday evening (June 9). There will be a further demonstration of the LEAF Nismo RC on the Saturday at 12.10 just ahead of the main 24 Hours endurance race.
Although the LEAF is not competing at Le Mans, Nissan and Nismo are heavily involved with an LMP2 car that is taking part in the race. Run by Signatech, it will be co-driven by Lucas Ordonez, who was the first winner of Nissan's GT Academy, and Soheil Ayari and Franck Mailleux.
Aherad of the LEAF RC's debut, Nissan has released a video of the car testing in Japan at the Sodegaura Forest Raceway.
