VW launches Service Promise

Volkswagen is improving its after-sales experience with the launch of its Service Promise.

A new scheme has been launched by Volkswagen to offer a better after-sales experience for its customers. The Volkswagen Service Promise provides 10 points that outline what every customer can expect.

Volkswagen has conducted research among its customers to find out what they want and the Service Promise is the result. Among the 10 promises VW now offers as a result of the research are to provide the first 15 minutes of a diagnosis free of charge; to price match service and repairs when using original VW parts; free fitting of bulbs and wiper blades; and a free wash and vacuum after every service or repair.

VW's After-sales Manager, Alan Bateson, said: "The name of Volkswagen must not only be synonymous with outstanding vehicles, but also with excellent after-sales service. The Volkswagen Service Promise is part of this strategy. At its foundation is the ethos of delivering better service and better value to every Volkswagen owner in Ireland. Through consistent development we now offer a better service quality at a price that is competitive if not better than independent garages. The great news is that this is what our customers are telling us also through feedback and research studies."
