One 24-hour endurance race is more than enough for most teams, but Aston Martin is tackling two full-length endurance events in one weekend.
The Aston Rapide saloon will take on the Spring Mountain Motor Sports Ranch event in Nevada at the same time another team tackles the Nürburgring 24 Hours in the new V12 Zagato.
Aston Martin's Julian Jenkins said: "This 24-hour initiative will give us an opportunity to showcase the capabilities of the Rapide, which in turn demonstrates its everyday usability and durability."
The 470hp Rapide will be racing at the same time as the V12 Zagato competes at the Nürburgring. Both races will help raise money for the Heart of Japan charity, which is helping those affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami.
