Finance offers, special editions and an EV incentive are all available from Mazda Ireland.

Mazda Ireland has announced a range of new-car deals in advance of the new 221 registration plate change in January. There's a new Homura special edition trim on offer and a free wallbox charging installation available for the electric MX-30, while competitive finance rates are available, too.

Special editions for all

The deals begin with the Homura special edition. What was once a special trim (Homura means 'blaze' or 'flame' in Japanese) available on the Mazda6 saloon and Tourer estate, the trim level has now been added to the Mazda2, Mazda3, CX-30 and CX-5 ranges.

Specifications vary between models, but all get gloss black alloy wheels and piano-black door mirror caps, as well as extra equipment. On the Mazda2, the black upholstery is enhanced with red stitching, while models with leather trim get it in a burgundy red finish.

Buy a Mazda3 or CX-30 Homura using hire purchase (HP) or a personal contract plan (PCP), and you can benefit from a cheaper finance rate of 3.9% APR. That means monthly repayments start from €315 per month for the Mazda3 and €346 per month for the CX-30.

The rest of the Mazda range is available at a still-competitive 4.9 per cent APR for buyers on HP or PCP. Speaking about the 221-plate offers, John Perry, Managing Director of Mazda Ireland, said: "For the 221 plate change, we have focused on lowering our monthly repayments and APRs. The Homura special edition looks fantastic, and not only offers good value, but stands out from the crowd. With the 3.9% APR on Mazda3 and CX-30 Homura, and the value of the added equipment, they are sure to be in high demand. Stock will be somewhat limited, so we advise customers to visit their local dealer as soon as possible to secure their order for early next year."

Charging installation

Elsewhere, the all-electric Mazda MX-30 is available with a free wallbox charge point installation to attract potential buyers. The Wallbox Pulsar Plus is a compact unit that delivers smart charging at a rate of 7.4kW. It's available for free installation if you take out finance on an MX-30 at 5.9 per cent APR, or you could take up Mazda's cheaper 3.9 per cent APR finance to help reduce monthly repayments on the MX-30 to €276. Mazda is also offering 24-hour test drives of the MX-30 to help potential buyers see if the electric SUV can fit in with their lifestyle.
