BMW has gone down the scooter road before with its limited-success C1 range, but its new two-wheeled vehicle is the battery-powered E-Scooter.
The concept E-Scooter comes with performance similar to large capacity so-called super scooters. This means the E-Scooter covers 0-100km/h in around five seconds, but has a range of more than 100 kilometres to make it ideal for city riding.
A standard domestic plug socket can be used to charge the E-Scooter, which takes les than three hours to go from flat to fully charged.
At the moment, the E-Scooter is only a concept, but BMW insiders say a production model could be a reality if trials prove successful.
