Improved quality and space are the keynotes of the new B-Class' cabin says Mercedes-Benz, which has just released the first images of the next B's interior.
To give this feel, Mercedes uses SLK-style circular air vents in the dash, which can now also be ordered with its top covered in stitched Artico man-made leather. The dash-top display screen comes with a galvanised metal frame and piano black front panel.
Further improving the image of the B-Class' driving environment is a steering wheel taken from the CLS. It has a chrome-finished centre spoke, while the four main dials in the dash all sit at the 6 o'clock position when the ignition is switched off.
Mercedes says the interior design has been heavily influenced by its own Advanced Design Studio in Como, Italy. The new Mercedes B-Class will make its world debut at the Frankfurt motor show next month.
