Toyota Ireland has released details of its offers for the upcoming 231 sales period and on the availability of some of its big-selling models.
3.9 per cent APR on some models
A 3.9 per cent APR will apply to all Toyota Yaris hybrid, Yaris petrol and Aygo X models ordered before January 31 next year, with a 5.9 per cent APR applying across most of the rest of the range. Among the cars on which the 5.9 per cent APR is available is the newly-arrived Corolla Cross which is on sale with prices starting from €38,910 or, on a PCP package at that 5.9 per cent APR, €297 per month.
Availability
The company says that some of its higher-demand models, such as the RAV4, Camry, Corolla and Yaris Cross, are in shorter supply than others, so those keen to secure one early in the new year would do well to place their orders soon. Models of which the firm says it has an ample supply include the C-HR crossover and Land Cruiser 4x4 and the new Proace City and Proace Electric light commercials.
Warranty
All new models bought from Toyota come with a three-year (or 100,000km) warranty, and the company was keen to remind drivers of its Toyota Relax initiative, which sees any Toyota car or commercial less than 10 years old (or with less than 185,000km on the clock) receive a 12-month warranty when brought to a Toyota dealership for service. This applies regardless of where the vehicle was bought or by whom.
Comment
"We believe that our hybrid electrics provide much needed peace of mind and are the best option for Irish drivers looking to start their journey into electrified driving," said Zoe Bradley, head of marketing communications and corporate affairs at Toyota Ireland, commenting on the 231 offers.
"With lower NOx and CO2 than pure fossil-fuel-powered vehicles and the ability to drive in zero emissions mode for more than 50 per cent of the time on average, they are more environmentally friendly. They are also friendlier on the wallet than other internal combustion engine powered cars, as they don't need to be plugged in and they charge when the brakes are applied, this makes them comparatively cheaper to run. For example, we have calculated that our Yaris hybrids will save drivers on average €410 on annual fuel costs compared to non-hybrid competitors.
"We have something to offer all customers and we recommend that interested customers get in touch with their local Toyota dealer as early as possible."
Toyota is Ireland's best-selling brand so far this year (as was the case last year), with its Corolla coming second in the best-selling model rankings behind the Hyundai Tucson and four other models appearing in the top ten for the year.
