Dublin's streets will echo with the sounds of F1 in January with the Red Bull Showrun.

Red Bull is bringing its Formula One Showrun to the streets of Dublin city on 15 January.

The reigning F1 Constructors Champions will stage a spectacular and ear-shredding display on the North Wall Quay in Dublin city centre between 16:30 and 18:00. The stretch between the Samuel Beckett Bridge and the East Link Bridge will provide plenty of space for the Red Bull F1 car to put on an impressive demonstration.

Former F1 Driver and TV pundit David Coulthard will take to the wheel of Sebastian Vettel's Championship-winning RB7 car. The Adrian Newey-designed car won 12 out of 19 races that season, securing 27 podiums, 18 pole positions and 10 fastest laps. But perhaps the most entertaining feature is that its V8 engine revs to 18,000rpm, and DC intends to use every bit of it in Dublin.

David Coulthard said to Complete Car: "I think it is fantastic to have the opportunity to take Formula One beyond the racetrack, so it is great to bring the show to Dublin. I know the craic is going to be great, I know the energy is going to be great, I just hope the weather is kind to us so we can put on a really nice show. "When I was in Belfast it was wet, and that was quite difficult to do anything exciting. But it's as close as I'm going to get to doing something in Scotland, but there's a kindred spirit between the Scots and Irish so I'm looking forward to it. And I may be encouraged by my old buddy Eddie Jordan to come along and spread some of his craziness!"

Irish drift star and Red Bull athlete, Conor Shanahan, will also be performing in his Toyota GT86. Having started his drifting career at only nine years of age, he became the youngest-ever driver to win professional drift events in Ireland, England and Europe and currently competes in the Drift Masters European Championship.

Alongside the four-wheel spectacle, Red Bull Motorsport athlete and pro stunt rider Mike Jensen will exhibit his skills on two wheels. The double stunt riding world champion will perform some of motorcycling's most technical and creative tricks.

Tickets are available online at www.redbull.ie/F1Dublin with prices starting at €5 for children, €10 for adults and a family ticket for two adults and two children costing €20.
