The Bumblebee1000 charity supercar run will get underway next month in Ireland, with a number of rare and exotic motors making appearances over three days. The event, dubbed "Rise of the Beasts," will take place from 9-12 June.
The event is in aid of the Little Blue Heroes Foundation (and its Honorary Gardaí). It features a wide array of cars, including a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a Ford GT and a Bentley Continental GT W12.
Bumblebee1000 2023 route
Starting in Kildare, the cars will visit Kinnegad, Athlone, Claremorris and Westport on the first day of the run. The second day sees the cars make stops in Galway Plaza, Bunratty, Mallow and Midleton before the final leg of the trip, which takes them to the Garyvoe Hotel, Bandon and Rosscarbery, eventually finishing at the Mahon Point Shopping Centre in Cork.
Attendance along the way is free, though the public is encouraged to donate to the Little Blue Heroes charity collectors at each stop.
Previous charity runs
Bumblebee1000 has conducted supercar charity runs before, the most recent being its Northwest Adventure Road trip, which featured over 80 supercars embarking on a journey that finished in Donegal, again in aid of the Little Blue Heroes Foundation.
In the past, the Bumblebee1000 has partnered with the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation, Enable Ireland and Pieta House. The Little Blue Heroes Foundation comprises past and present Garda staff and their friends, families and communities to help seriously ill children in need.
