The Drogheda motor show returns to the streets of Louth town this year under the banner of 'Brand New Drive 241'. Nine local dealers, representing 20 different car brands, will bring more than 70 new cars and vans to display on Laurence Street from 10am to 5pm on the 21st of October.
Road safety and responsibility
The theme for the show this year is 'Deals on Wheels for Every Pocket', and the organisers have said that they: "are committed to promoting road safety and responsible driving on the day too. To emphasise these critical messages, the event will feature a special return performance by the local dance and theatrical production company, Kast Productions."
There will also be live music by Drogheda Comhaltas, face-painting, balloon modelling, and magic with Martin the Magician to 'captivate visitors of all ages.'
Automotive excellence

Brings people together
Alex Smith from Smiths of Drogheda, Ford, is excited to return to Laurence Street, "This will be our fourth occasion on Laurence Street and we're so looking forward to it. We always receive a warm welcome from other local businesses too, who operate on the street. The show brings people together and the town certainly benefits economically as a result. All participating Dealers will bring their best deals to the street, so it makes sense to come on down and find that next brand new drive - locally."
The show aims to offer visitors not just some shiny metal to look at but also expert advice on car features, ideal family cars, travel options, energy consumption, and much more. There will also be special finance package offers available for anyone interested in getting their order in for January.
