What is it?
A refreshed Prius that promises improvements to the interior and exterior, which is set to be joined by the Prius Plug-In Hybrid and the Prius+, a hybrid 7-seat MPV.
Why's it here?
The existing Prius has been tremendously successful and the plug-in version offers the flexibility of 1.5 hours charging time and fanlky astonishing expected fuel economy of 134.5mpg offered by the Prius Plug-In Hybrid. Those after a seven-seat hybrid don't quite get the same astronomical economy benefits, but it's still pretty frugal.
Show stopper or floor filler?
We have seen these cars at previous motor shows. Not floor filler material neither new enough to stop you in your tracks, but worth a gander.
