Last week we told you about Audi's partnership with Etihad Airways that will see customers from Munster handed the keys to an Audi A4. Well it seems Audi North Dublin are set to confuse the travelling Munster masses by building a new state of the art facility modelled on an airport terminal. To add to the confusion the location - just off the M50 at junction 5 - is right beside Dublin Airport.
The first sod has already been turned on the €10 million facility and when completed in June 2012 it will boast an 18-car showroom and a state of the art workshop containing 16 service bays fully kitted out with the latest technology. Other features will include a display area for Audi Genuine Accessories, an exclusive Audi quattro showroom for individualisation of cars along with a customer coffee lounge and kids' entertainment area.
Rumours of a baggage carousel, long term car park and boarding gate at the new terminal are yet to be confirmed.
