Toyota has been a key global supporter of the Special Olympics for some time and was instrumental in bringing the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games to Ireland. Now, Toyota Motor Europe has reaffirmed its commitment to the Special Olympics until 2025.
Inclusive societies
It’s a two-year extension to an existing three-year agreement, and the two organisations say that they are keen to keep working together to “foster inclusive societies and mobility for all.”

Shared vision

It’s not just a sponsorship arrangement, either. Toyota personnel volunteer to help with Special Olympics events, while Toyota people and Special Olympics competitors became ‘teammates for a day’ of training before the 2023 World Games and in the Giro d’Italia competition last year.
