Lansdowne Place in Ballsbridge played host to Ireland’s first Range Rover House.

As well as displaying its cars in a traditional showroom, Land Rover has created the Range Rover House experience for its well-heeled clients. There have been over 40 Range Rover Houses run in 20 countries across the globe, and the latest event took place in Dublin from 10-19 May.

A luxury experience

The exclusive Lansdowne Place private residential development in Ballsbridge hosted Range Rover House in an eighth-floor penthouse, which, according to Land Rover "presents Range Rover’s vision of modern, sustainable luxury and design leadership".

Guests for the invitation-only event were able to get first-hand experience of the Range Rover SV, the flagship of the luxury 4x4 line-up that made its debut at this particular Range Rover House. Here they were able to configure their own cars using the bespoke materials and finishes available via Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division, with the help of the company's product experts.

Range Rover House is designed to reflect the company's DNA of modern luxury and "embodying the brand’s modernist design philosophy". The interior design of the Lansdowne Road penthouse was overseen by Range Rover's designer Gerry McGovern, while the site offers views across Dublin, including the Aviva Stadium on Lansdowne Road.

Range Rover Houses around the world

The Range Rover House experience has been running since 2022 and has taken in upmarket locations such as Whistler in California, St Tropez in France, Sydney in Australian and Mayfair in London. At the Dublin House, as well as poring over the Range Rover SV, guests could take in a range of exclusive Irish artworks, enjoy a restorative massage or try a gourmet taste and mixology food experience prepared by Michelin-starred chef couple Jordan Bailey and Majken Bech-Bailey.

Eddie Kavanagh, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Ireland was in attendance. “We are hugely excited to bring Range Rover House to Dublin and to welcome our clients and guests to Lansdowne Place," he said. "Through a curated programme we showcase how Range Rover raises modern luxury and refinement to unprecedented heights. It promises to be a truly unforgettable event in a unique setting.”
