You can now have a Nissan Ariya for €39,995.

Nissan has once again lowered the price of its all-electric Ariya SUV. The battery-powered model now has a starting price of €39,995.

404km official range

That price is lower than the €43,500 which Nissan introduced for the base-model Ariya Engage. The Engage model comes with the smaller 63kWh battery that’s offered in the Ariya, giving it an official range of 404km.

If you want more range or more equipment, you can upgrade. The 63kWh Advance grade starts at €42,995, while the higher-spec Evolve grade with the same battery starts at €45,495. Pricing for the larger 87kWh battery in the Advance grade starts at €51,995 and at €54,495 for the Evolve grade. All prices are inclusive of Government grants. With the 87kWh battery, you get a range of up to 532km.

Extremely competitive

“Our new pricing is extremely competitive for a family car of this quality. The first thing you notice when you sit into the Nissan Ariya is its premium feel and spacious interior and customers can now have it all for less,’ said Seamus Morgan, Managing Director of Nissan Ireland.

“The entry grade price of €39,995 is on a par, or less than the cost of buying the same sized petrol or diesel car. Nissan is making EV driving more affordable than ever and the Nissan Ariya makes it possible to switch to zero emissions driving without having to compromise on price, range, luxury or space,’ he added. “There is incredible value to be had on the Nissan Ariya right now. Customers can get €2,000 more than their current car is worth with Nissan’s summer Trade-In-Booster offer on any Nissan Ariya, if they buy before the end of July. Alternatively, they can choose the limited time 3.99 per cent finance offer, which is available across the Nissan range, to drive a new Nissan Ariya 63kWh Engage for the incredible price of €358 per month.”

Standard equipment

In equipment terms, wireless Apple Carplay, cabled Android and the ‘Intelligent Personal Assistant’ voice control technology all come as standard.

Standard safety features include Intelligent Forward Collison Warning, Intelligent Driver Alertness, Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Lane Intervention, Blind Spot Warning and Blindspot Intervention, and Rear Emergency Braking and Cross Traffic Alert technology. Nissan’s e-Pedal technology allows you to drive the Ariya almost all the time with just one pedal.

The top-of-the-range 87kWh Ariya Evolve comes with a wireless phone charger, part-suede seats, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display (HUD), ProPILOT automated parking, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, a Bose ten-speaker sound system and an opening panoramic sunroof.
