Kia Motors Ireland has appointed Tralee stalwarts McElligott Motors as Kia Dealers in Kerry. In doing so the Korean manufacturer joins Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and light commercials, Land Rover and Honda in choosing the dealer as its representatives in the area.
"This is an exciting time for Kia and McElligott's with the launch of new Picanto and Rio ranges following on from the outstanding success of the new Sportage and brand benefits that continue to accrue from Kia's unique seven-year warranty," commented Patrick McElligott, Managing Director of McElligott's.
Speaking at a photocall to mark the appointment, James Brooks, Managing Director of Kia Motors Ireland, said: "We are delighted to make this appointment. Kia has come a long way in the last few years and the fact that we can attract a dealership with a reputation for quality and service like McElligotts is testimony to this."
