Nissan Ireland 251 registration offers

Nissan will give you an extra €4,000 for your 251 trade-in.

Nissan Ireland will offer you as much as €4,000 extra for your trade-in if you’re buying a 251 number plate car for January.

Limited time offer

The offer seems like a bit of an early Christmas present for Irish car buyers, but it won’t run for long. Nissan hasn’t actually told us how long it’ll be around for, but you’re advised to act fast if you want to make the most of it.

€2,500 against a Qashqai

The trade-in booster starts at €2,000 if you’re shopping for a Juke or Juke Hybrid (which can run at up to 55km/h on battery power, urban commuters…) and rises to €2,500 if you’re looking at a new Qashqai. That’s the Qashqai with the new-for-2024 styling and in either mild-hybrid petrol turbo or e-Power full hybrid form. That e-Power hybrid runs the Qashqai full-time on electric power, using a small battery to power an electric motor. There is a petrol engine, but it’s not connected to the wheels and is just there to keep the battery topped up as you drive. It’s clever stuff, and means that you can drive an electrically-powered car without worrying about plugging in.

Extra bonuses for X-Trail, Ariya, and Leaf

If you fancy a larger Nissan X-Trail, then you’ll get a €3,000 trade-in bonus against a five-seat e-Power hybrid model.

Then there’s a €2,000 trade-in boost for the all-electric Ariya SUV, with its range of up to 529km. And the biggest trade-in boost, the full €4,000, is for the Nissan Leaf, and that’s a discount which will make it one of the most affordable electric cars of them all.

Your trade-in is worth more

“The good news for new car buyers is that their trade-in is worth a whole lot more at their local Nissan dealership. We will boost the trade-in value of your car by at least €2,000 and by as much as €4,000 depending on the new Nissan that you want to buy,” said Neil O’Sullivan, Sales Director at Nissan Ireland.

If you want to find out more about the 251 trade-in bonus, then either check out the Nissan Ireland website or visit your local Nissan dealer.
