Nationwide event offers Toyota customers the chance to save on hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric models.

Toyota has launched a limited-time spring sales event across all of its Irish dealerships, offering customers “power-up boosters” on trade-ins against electrified models. Until March 15, customers will see their trade-in prices ‘boosted’ by up to €3,000 when trading up to a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or electric Toyota.

How does this sale work?

The sale, which runs from February 24 to March 15, 2025, allows buyers of new ‘251-plate’ Toyota hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electric models to receive a “power-up booster” on their trade-in car. Although the exact size of the booster depends on the car being purchased, customers can receive up to €3,000 extra for swapping into certain new Toyota plug-in hybrid models.

All 41 of Toyota’s Irish dealerships are running the sale, which also includes flexible payment options for all new Toyota models.

“Our biggest ever power-up boosters will be available for three weeks only on some of Toyota’s most popular models,” said Toyota Ireland’s head of marketing communications and corporate affairs, Zoë Bradley. “There is no time like the present to book a test drive with your local dealership and grab a very limited time offer. And to help find the best powertrain for your lifestyle, our ‘power of choice’ experts will be on hand to help drivers make the switch to hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or battery electric driving as seamless as possible.”

Which cars are included?

The largest boosters available are for the Prius Plug-In and C-HR Plug-In Hybrid models, both of which are offered with the full €3,000. However, buyers of the C-HR Plug-In Hybrid Sport version will only get a €2,000 booster.

Elsewhere in the range, buyers of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid supermini will receive a power-up booster of €1,250 on their trade-in value, while those choosing the C-HR Hybrid will get a €2,000 power-up booster.

For those choosing a Corolla, meanwhile, there will be a €1,500 booster available regardless of which model you choose. The five-door Hatchback and Touring Sport versions and the Saloon models will all be eligible for the same additional trade-in price.

Incidentally, the hybrid-powered Corolla Cross SUV will also be offered with a €1,500 trade-in booster, while the sole petrol-only model that qualifies is the Aygo X, offered with a €750 power-up booster.
