Renault Clio beats the 2012 VAT increase

Order a Clio before the end of the year and Renault will take the hit on the VAT increase.

Recent changes to the VAT rate in the budget will see car prices rise from January 1, but Renault Ireland has just announced a price freeze on the Clio model, meaning you will be able to pick up the French supermini at its current price.

If you order a new Clio before the end of December, Renault will take the hit on the 2 per cent VAT increase meaning the three-door Expression specification car can be yours for €9,990.

The Clio range is available in a range of trim levels with either petrol or diesel engines and a choice of manual or automatic transmissions. All cars come with a standard three-year warranty with up to five years available and thanks to Renault Finance buyers can buy a Clio with an interest rate of 4.9 percent APR.

The 'Beat the Budget' offer is available from Renault dealers nationwide and more details can be found on www.renault.ie.
