Citroen has released initial details of its facelifted C1, which is set to take its bow at the Brussels Motor Show this week. Entering the Irish market in April the refreshed model will sport a new face, complete with redesigned bonnet, grille and LED daytime running lights, mimicking those of Citroen's DS range. The new C1 also gains new 'Notus' design 14-inch wheels and is available with 'Rift' 14-inch alloy wheels on top of the range VTR models.
Under the bonnet the C1's 68hp three-cylinder petrol engine is even more efficient with fuel consumption as low as 4.3 litres/100km (65.7mpg) and CO2 emissions of 99g/km for the manual model, putting it into the lowest band for road tax.
At launch the C1 will be available in Botticelli blue, a shade that is currently only offered in the C3 and DS3 ranges. The line-up of body colours also includes Scarlet red, Electra blue, Lipizzan white, Caldera black and two grey tones - one light, Gallium grey - and one dark, Carlinite grey. Entry-level VT models will come with Mistral 'Nokimat' cloth interior while new 'Orsai' upholstery will be available on the C1 VTR.
Final Irish specifications and pricing details are still to be confirmed.
