Mazda Ireland is aiming for the jugular with aggressive price cuts across the Mazda2 range. For the months of February and March the 1.3-litre, three-door entry level Mazda2 in Comfort specification is available from €13,495. This price represents a €2,300 saving over the class leading Ford Fiesta and is available with a low interest rate of just 5.9% APR over four years through Mazda Finance.
With a price of €14,995 the best-selling Mazda2 Sensu model also undercuts its rivals by as much as €2,250 according to Mazda. As standard Sensu specification includes 15-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, leather steering wheel and gear knob, and side and curtain airbags.
All Mazda2 models are powered by a 1.3-litre petrol engine with outputs ranging from 75- to 84hp that return 5.1 litres/100km (55mpg) on the combined cycle and, thanks to low emissions of 119g/km, qualify for road tax Band A.
As a final incentive Mazda Ireland is currently running a promotion whereby one lucky customer who purchases a new Mazda during either February or March will win the retail price of the car back in cash.
