BMW Ireland has bolstered its association with Mondello Park motor race circuit with the arrival of two new BMW M3s to the venue. One of the cars is fitted out as the circuit's Safety Car, while the other will be used on race days as a Course Car and also to show guests around the Kildare race venue.
The two new arrivals replace the existing BMW 1 Series versions that were used during the 2009 season. BMW M cars have always had an association with the race track and their arrival will raise the profile of Ireland's international motorsport venue.
"The BMW M3 wrote one of the most successful chapters in the history of the automobile and in international motorsport alike. The BMW M3 has always felt confident in both worlds – on the street and on the track. We are pleased that we can this year supply Ireland's most important race track with a type of vehicle that has been of huge influence for the racing scene and for car enthusiasts around the world for the last 25 years. No other car would be a better fit for Mondello Park," said John Ives, Managing Director BMW Group Ireland.
