It is now possible to see and hear the McLaren MP4-12 Spider in action in a two-minute film on the company's YouTube channel.
Emphasising the link between McLaren's road and racing cars the video shows the Spider on the roads of Andalucía, southern Spain, with plenty of tyre smoke and drifting. Some of the footage appears to be from the Ascari Race Resort in the same area. Company test driver and British Touring Car Championship star Matt Jackson demonstrates what the car can do.
Even the folding hard top is shown in action, with the car in motion.
