We already know that the new Toyota Auris will make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show at the end of the month but the Japanese company has just announced that the Golf/Focus rivalling five-door hatch will not be the only member of the family to be unveiled.
Alongside the three- and five-door hatchback will be the Auris Tourer estate model and Verso compact MPV. The Tourer represents the first time that Toyota has offered an estate of this size and it could be a winner with family car buyers thanks to the revised Hybrid Synergy Drive promising class-leading economy with low emissions.
As too will the Verso compact MPV; a car that Toyota says has been significantly revised with a higher quality interior and reworked engine.
In addition to this trio of world debuts, Toyota will also reveal a new range of TRD Performance Line accessories for the GT86. Attendees will also get the chance to drive the GT86 (virtually) as there will be a racing simulator complete with Lucas Arts THX surround sound.
The final piece of the Toyota Paris Motor Show jigsaw is the upcoming Yaris Trend; a funkier version of the new supermini aimed at a younger, more style-conscious buyers.
How all of this relates to the Irish market has yet to be revealed.
