Good news... Dacia Sandero is coming to Ireland

James May's favourite car to arrive in November.

Dacia has not even begun deliveries of the Duster to Irish customers yet but already it is expanding, with the announcement of the second car in its line-up. The Sandero is a five-door Fiesta-sized supermini that will arrive in dealerships around the country from November, having first made its debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

The Sandero has been on sale on the continent for five years now and will be launched in right-hand drive markets as part of its mid-life facelift. Prices and specifications are yet to be announced but it stands to reason that the Sandero will mirror its Duster brother for spec with two offerings for the Irish market.

The five-door Sandero will be the first in a range of models that will grow to Sandero Cross-Over and Grand Sandero in 2013. Speaking at the announcement of the Sandero,  Julien Lelorrain, Marketing Director, Dacia Ireland said; "Dacia is all about the smart buy and will change the way people think about buying cars. The brand is generous, reliable, simple and smart and these are the reasons why it is the fastest growing brand in Europe".

To attract customers to the new Romanian brand, in addition to the low prices, all Dacia models will carry a three-year or 100,000-kilometre warranty.
