Silly season is well and truly underway as motoring brands vie to outdo each other with their end of year offers. The latest to join the merry-go-round is Ford, which has just announced its 'Big Four' offer.
This is designed to entice customers to visit their local Ford dealership over the four weekends leading up to December 2. In return Ford will offer free road tax on the facelifted Fiesta, free 16-inch alloys, front fog lights, premium mats and upgraded console on the Focus and a single price body style on Mondeo: wagon, hatchback or saloon at just one price starting at €26,995.
Each model will also be offered with an extended five-year warranty.
As part of the promotion, Ford is additionally introducing FordOptions, a new finance programme that allows the customer to agree with their Ford dealer how much to pay as an upfront deposit and/or trade in, in addition to the term and monthly repayments. At the end of the term the customer can either replace their car with a new model, return their car with nothing further to pay or retain the car once the agreed final payment has been made.
"With our offers on Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo, and the introduction of FordOptions, I think our Big Four promotion has something for everyone", said Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland.
