Citroen has released more details of its line-up at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show. We've already covered the Technospace Concept and new C3. There is also the DS3 Racing, DS4 Electro Shot limited edition and the Hybrid Air concept.
Celebrating the company's eighth WRC Manufacturer's title and nine Driver's and Co-drivers titles for Sebastian Loeb and Daniel Elena, Citroen has produced a new DS3 Racing. The body is finished in matt black with a matt gold roof and special graphics. The colour is repeated on the rear spoiler, door mirrors, chevrons and front grille. Inside, more matt gold appears on the fascia strip and the base of the gear lever. Continuing the black and gold theme, the 18-inch alloy wheels are also finished in the two-tone colour scheme.
Produced by the new customisation workshop at the Mulhouse production site the DS4 Electro Shot is a new limited edition model. Based on the DStyle trim level it features a two-tone colour scheme with gloss black roof, spoiler and 17-inch wheels.
A Citroen C3 VTi 82 prototype will showcase the Hybrid Air technology. Riding on 165/50 R18 Michelin tyres - designed to cut fuel consumption, save weight and reduce noise - the car features special colours and materials. Emissions are 69g/km and fuel economy is said to be 97mpg on the combined cycle. The Hybrid Air system combines a petrol engine, compressed air storage, a hydraulic motor and automatic transmission. It is possible to run solely on stored compressed air, just petrol power or a combination of both.
