Sweet success for Citroen's commercial division

SMEs fuelling the commercial sector as Sweet Cicely picks up its third Berlingo.

Sales of light commercial vehicles are often used as a barometer of business activity in Ireland and it should be seen as good news that figures were up two per cent in April on the same month in 2012. According to Citroen Motors Ireland it is small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that are fuelling the upturn in the sector with one such SME having just taken delivery of its third Citroen Berlingo.

Dublin based, Sweet Cicely, is a full service catering company that was set up in 2004 and has expanded over the years and now boasts a large customer base throughout Dublin and Kildare. The company offers an excellent example of SMEs throughout Ireland who are now investing in their vehicle fleets and seeing the benefits that this investment brings to their companies, with reduced running costs and a strong company image.

Sweet Cicely owner Siobhan Monaghan recently visited Citroen Motors Ireland Head office in Airside Motor Park, Swords to pick up the key of the newest member of her commercial vehicle fleet.

Commenting on the handover of the new Berlingo van, Sean O'Neill, Fleet Manager, Citroen Motors Ireland, said "We wish Sweet Cicely continued success with the newest edition to their vehicle fleet, and we are confident that the Citroen Berlingo will play a part in their future growth. At Citroen, we are dedicated to providing SME's with a wide choice of quality light commercial vehicles and aftersales services tailored to suit the business requirements."
