Are you a driver aged between 17 and 21? Think you are safe behind the wheel? Crash Services wants you to prove it and is offering a Citroen DS3 as a sweetener.
Crash Services will select one male and one female from every county in Ireland and fit an Ingenium Dynamics telematics system to their cars for 10 weeks to have driving behaviour assessed. Developed with the support of some of the biggest transport organisations in the world the Ingenium Dynamics 'blackbox' has already won the 'Risk Management' category of the British Insurance awards in 2012 where it was found that drivers of cars fitted with the system greatly improved their driving behaviour.
Which is exactly what Crash Services is hoping will happen with its contestants. In addition to winning a new car the best driver will also get an opportunity to take part in an advanced driving course, plus cars that carry black boxes are generally cheaper to insure.
Anything else?
