What is it?
The Verso-S is Toyota's new compact MPV and it will be a rival to the likes of the Opel Meriva. The new car will come with a choice of a 1.3-litre 99hp petrol engine or a 1.4-litre 90hp diesel engine. The diesel engine will have Band A emissions of 119g/km.
Why's it here?
Toyota is in need of a small MPV to combat the likely success of the Meriva and this car will suit families who want versatility but not something big or expensive.
Show stopper or floor filler?
It is a bit of a floor filler; it's not really that exciting, but then again we haven't seen anything exciting from Toyota since the iQ - aside from the FT-86 concept.
