Ford has announced four new versions of the Ka, which should attract anyone looking to trade-in their old car under the scrappage scheme.
The entry-level Ka Studio starts at €7,995 under the scheme (excluding delivery). Buyers get a six-speaker sound system with mp3 connectivity, driver and passenger airbags and rear head restraints.
For an extra €1,435, customers can choose the Edge, which comes with air conditioning, remote central locking and powered, heated door mirrors. Like all Ka models it comes with 1.2-litre petrol or 1.3-litre turbodiesel engines packing 69- and 74bhp respectively.
At the top of the range are the Zetec and Titanium spec models. The Zetec gets 15-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps and tinted glass, while Titanium models come with extra chrome, 16-inch alloy wheels and an enhanced sound system.
List prices for the new Ka start at €11,005 and top out at €16,290 for the Titanium 1.3 TDCI. The new models are available now.
