Land Rover's new Freelander, which goes on sale in Ireland in January, will come with the option of a two-wheel drive version that has lower emissions of 158g/km. This puts it in motor tax Band D and also brings it down to a much lower price.
The entry-level 2.2-litre 150hp 2wd E model will start at just €29,995, making it the cheapest and most fuel-efficient Land Rover ever offered in Ireland.
There will also be a four-wheel drive 190hp version of the new model. You can read a full review of the new model shortly here on CompleteCar.ie.
