Volkswagen's new Passat will start from €24,865 when it goes on sale later this month (November 2010). That price will get you the 1.4-litre 122hp TSI petrol Trendline model.
The first of the diesels, the 1.6-litre 105hp TDI Trendline will cost €25,160. The Comfortline 1.6-litre TDI costs €27,355 and the more powerful 140hp Comfortline 2.0-litre TDI costs €30,130. A Comfortline 2.0-litre TDI with DSG automatic gearbox costs €32,885.
A top-spec Highline 1.6 TDI starts at €29,080; the Highline 2.0 TDI costs €31,890 and a 2.0-litre TDI Highline with DSG costs €34,645.
