Here's a bargain for Honda fans - the Japanese carmaker is inviting brand devotees to the Nürburgring to watch a 24-hour endurance race, with the package including a chance to see the new Civic Type R up close and personal, potential laps of the race track prior to the racing action and VIP paddock access.
And the price of this three-day Honda extravaganza? A very reasonable €175 per person. The full programme runs thus: on May 15-17, the ADAC Zurich 24-hour sports car race will take place on the combined 25km-long Nürburgring (that's both the GP circuit and the Nordschleife), and the weekend will also include a round of the World Touring Car Championship (in which Team Castrol Honda competes). For the outlay, fans will get VIP entrance tickets to the racing with paddock access, camping accommodation in a souvenir tent, all food and drink throughout the weekend, a hands-on encounter with the new Civic Type R, a tour of the garage, and chance to meet the WTCC drivers at a special Q&A session.
If that wasn't enough, a lucky few will also be able to take their Civics on a lap around the circuit before the 24-hour race gets under way. For the money, this looks like an absolute steal.

There is special meaning to holding the event at the Nürburgring as this is where the forthcoming Civic Type R recently set the front-wheel drive lap record for production cars. Watch this lap in the video below.
