Sexy styling and space for a Ducati? Sounds good to us.

This is the perfect van for a man with a (racing) plan - the Volkswagen Multivan PanAmericana concept. Based on the just-launched new T6 version of the Transporter van, it's being touted as the perfect vehicle for someone with a fast-bike fetish. Use the PanAmericana concept to lug your favourite sport-bike (presumably a Volkswagen Group-owned Ducati) to your favourite back road or race track, use the electric unloading system to ease it down to the ground, have your fun, re-load and then cruise home in comfort.

Power comes from a 204hp 2.0-litre TDI engine driving through a seven-speed DSG gearbox.

On the outside, it's painted 'Oryx white' with PanAmericana badges on the b-pillar. There are also extra fins in the radiator grille, and red and black trim pretty much everywhere. There's also a metal bash-plate to protect the bottom of the engine, because this van has 4Motion four-wheel drive, so as to better negotiate all those lumpy, wet, awkward motor sport paddocks.

Inside, there are seats with rugged upholstery, but also decoration panels in a mixture of white and fake carbon weave, and the floor is covered in hard-wearing machine-turned aluminium. According to Volkswagen: "motorcycle racers who want to conveniently transport their fine superbikes over long distances to their favourite courses. They will find that this chic version of the best-selling transport vehicle - combined with the necessary electric load ramp and interior mounting hooks - is ideal for their next racing adventure."

Expect to see every well-heeled builder's T6 wearing this body kit next year...
