Ford launches Focus RS video series

Behind-the-scenes videos to show development of awesome Ford Focus RS.

Ford is doing a series of weekly episodes, entitled 'Rebirth of an Icon', to show much of the behind-the-scenes development work for the forthcoming Focus RS megahatch.

The series of video shorts starts on September 30th and covers various subjects from the inception of the project, through harsh environmental testing and dynamic development. It features Raj Nair, Ford's group Vice-President for Global Product Development, and hoonmeister general Ken Block, who has been involved in a lot of the chassis sign-off.

The 350hp, all-wheel drive Focus RS is capable of 0-100km/h in just 4.7 seconds and also has a drift mode in its electronic set-up, allowing for lurid great powerslides. In a hot hatch. It's due to hit the roads in 2016.

Anything else?

Ahead of the first video's release at the end of the month, there's a trailer showing what fans can expect in the series ahead. Watch it right here.
