Fort Motors opens two new Kia dealerships

Kia comes to Blanchardstown and Tallaght.

What's the news?

Dublin-based Fort Motor Group has announced the opening of two new Kia dealerships this month. Fort Motors Kia is located in a 25,000 sq. ft. premises in Blanchardstown's Coolmine Industrial Estate, not far from the busy Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. Airton Kia will operate from an even larger 45,000 sq. ft. facility off the Greenhills Road in Tallaght. This will also carry an accredited state-of-the-art service and bodyshop operation.

Speaking at the official announcement, dealer principals Cyril and Paul Molloy, said: "On the one hand, Kia is clearly a brand on an upward curve in a buoyant marketplace for car sales. At the same time the Kia range very much complements our existing line-up of models.  We are delighted to be able to provide a fuller suite of vehicles to our customers, to meet the greater diversity we are seeing in car buying."

James Brooks, Managing Director of Kia Ireland, added: "We are delighted to add the Fort Motor Group to our growing dealer network. Our growth strategy is qualitative and the Fort Motor Group, with its proven sales and customer service record, is exactly the type of partner we require in driving our ambition to become one of Ireland's leading brands based on a reputation of quality, design, engineering and customer care".

Anything else?

The Fort Motor Group was founded over 50 years ago and it remains one of the largest and longest established motor groups in Dublin. Adding Airton Kia brings its existing number of outlets to five, and the expansion is expected to see the Group's workforce increase to almost 100.
