What's the news?
Hipsters of Ireland, rejoice - BMW is making a MINI to suit your every need, and it has been announced today.
The MINI Hipster Hatch is a celebration of all things retro and 'cool', and as such has some interesting features. Such as a twin-cassette deck inside with stonewashed-denim upholstery, to keep with the latest non-trends.
In the glasshouse are Instagram window filters so that you can adjust you view outside through one of 12 different appearances, while in the arches reside a set of alloy wheels that have been upcycled from other alloy wheels. Finally, the limited edition Hipster Hatch has just one forward gear with a maximum speed of 40km/h.
Ivana Newcarr, from MINI, said: "The MINI Hipster Hatch is like no other we've built before. Inspired by the kind of innovative thinking only found when you ignore the script and ask what those who refuse to be categorised want from a car - features like fixed-gear drive, twin-deck cassette player, upcycled details and Instagram filtered windows to name but a few."
Anything else?
If you're thinking that MINI has already done an April Fool's gag about Scissor Doors this year and that this has to be a genuine new model, head to www.mini.co.uk/hipsterhatch to be told just how gullible you are.
