Ford has special service offers for summer

As much as €20 trimmed from servicing prices.

What's the news?

Ford, which reckons we use our cars more in the summer than in winter, is offering some discounts on its servicing plans for the coming months.

For drivers of Fords, which are five years old or older (the Fords, not the drivers...) there is a new Ford Motorcraft Service Plan, which is offering services costing €109 for a car, €149 for a small van and €179 for a large van, all of which represent €20 off the previous price. You can also get a brake fluid replacement for just €50, which Ford recommends you do roughly every three years.

For more recent Ford models, those less than five years old, Ford is offering its Blue Service Plan. The costs work out, for a B-MAXFiesta and Ka from just €169; Focus, C-MAX, Grand C-MAX from just €179; and Kuga, Mondeo, S-MAX, Galaxy from just €189.

In addition, Ford Blue Service customers also benefit from free pan-European roadside assistance; a free Electronic Vehicle Health Check (eCheck); and similarly with the Ford Motorcraft offering, brake fluid replacement from just €50.

Ford also says that it will price-match any service quote for a service of similar quality from a non-Ford garage within a 10km radius.

Ford Ireland's Director of Customer Service, Dave Pimlott, said: "With our great price offers for both our Ford Blue Service and Motorcraft Service, there is no excuse not to have your car running at its optimum and most fuel efficient level. In addition to boosting the car's overall safety, regular servicing adds significantly to a car's resale value and with our price match guarantee, motorists can be sure they are getting the best value for money while their Ford is being maintained by the best trained technicians in the business."
