What's the news?
The ever-increasing proliferation of jolly songs on the radio and festive decorations around mean that Christmas is but a few weeks away, and Honda has launched a competition to give one lucky person a Yuletide that they won't forget in a hurry.
The competition is called "Guess the Snowflakes", and all you have to do to enter is watch the video on Honda's website, guess the number of snowflakes that fall in the clip and leave your name and email address. It's running between the 5th to the 18th of December with the winner being announced the day after entries close, and the person who guesses the correct answer will receive a prize of €5,000.
As well as celebrating Christmas, the competition ties in with the launch of the new tenth-generation Civic, which will be on display in Dundrum Town Centre from the 5th to the 7th of December. Honda Sales and Marketing Director John Saunders commented: "Christmas is a very special time of year and we are delighted to be able to make someone's Christmas that bit more exciting this December with our "Guess the Snowflakes" competition on www.honda.ie. We are also teaming up with the Simon community, to spread the good cheer to a very worthy charity at this time of year. So we are asking people to join in the fun and be civic minded this Christmas".
