Electric Renault Kangoo goes further
Improved driveline increases the travelling range of the Renault Kangoo Z.E. van.

What's the news?

Renault has announced changes to the Kangoo Z.E. van that increase the range by more than 50 per cent. The updated model will make its public debut on 13th January at the 2017 European Motor Show in Brussels.

Changes to the motor and battery pack take the official NEDC-assessed driving range from 170km (106 miles) to 270km (168 miles). Renault says that, under real world driving conditions, the range is 200km (124 miles).

The announcement of the improved Kangoo Z.E. van follows Renault's launch of the ZOE with a new Z.E.40 battery at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. With the new power pack the ZOE has a real-world range of 300km (186 miles), which Renault describes as the longest of any mainstream electric car.

More details of the Renault Kangoo Z.E. van will be revealed on 13th January.
