What's the news?
How do you improve upon the world's fastest and most luxurious SUV? Bentley has obviously asked itself that very question, as the new Bentayga Mulliner is set to debut at the Geneva show next week. Mulliner is Bentley's in-house personalisation division, and a limited run of vehicles are set to benefit from a wave of its bespoke wand.
Not exactly subtle in standard trim, the Mulliner gets new seven-spoke 22-inch wheels and a two-tone paintjob on the outside, with some extra body colouring and chrome detailing. These will be available as options on the regular car down the line, but for now they're confined to this special edition. The mighty 6.0-litre W12 engine is standard fitment, giving a faintly ridiculous top speed of over 300km/h, and the Bentley Dynamic Ride suspension system ensures maximum stability and comfort.
Inside, a 1,950-watt Naim audio system with twenty speakers is present, with bespoke mood lighting and new interior trim options to complement the exterior paintwork also available. There's a bottle cooler integrated into the rear centre console which contains its own bespoke flutes, and a Linley hamper with fine china cutlery and a solid-gold Breitling 'Tourbillon' clock can be specified.
Customers looking for even more unique touches for their Bentayga will be glad to know that Mulliner can cater for individual requests. The price? As the saying goes, if you have to ask...
