What's the news?

Skoda has taken a huge line-up of its latest cars to the Geneva Motor Show and there are some cracking machines to be seen on the Czech carmaker's stand.

The brand-new Kodiaq SUV is amply represented by two versions which play up either its ruggedness or its handsome, chiselled looks - the former being the Kodiaq Scout and the latter the Kodiaq Sportline.

Moving on to the facelifted Octavia with its distinctive split-headlamps, it is displayed with much the same dichotomous style: enjoy the off-roader-y Octavia Scout or the most powerful production version of the big hatchback yet, the Octavia RS 245.

Also on display are the overhauled versions of the Citigo urban runaround, as well as the sector-straddling Rapid and its Rapid Spaceback sibling.

Anything else?

Finally, the car it's sitting in might not be new, but there's a Fabia 1.0 TSI on the Geneva Skoda stand, this little beauty being the debut of the three-pot petrol engine in the Czech supermini.
